June 2015 Full Moon in Sagittarius Chart
An optimistic, hopeful, adventurous, philosophical Full Moon,
potentially filled with idealism and compassion. …there could be a wrinkle.
This month’s Full Moon is in Sagittarius, the most philosophical sign. It is the sign on a mission to seek and to spread Truth. There are various shades of experience on the quest of Truth and Meaning. Is the Truth being disseminated or accepted really true? Does the Truth sound logical or feel good, but is only a well-written story with a hint of Truth, enough to convince, but lacking in fundamental wisdom based on Natural Principles?
This Full Moon period is quite receptive with Mercury, Mars and the Sun in sociable Gemini. Saturn in Sagittarius’ conditioning attached to old belief structures, is less emphasized as the Moon has passed Saturn by 10 degrees for this chart. There is more openness to new ideas. Before the end of the day, the Moon trines Jupiter, the Natural Ruler of Sagittarius, and there is a feeling of the preacher-in-the-pulpit energy, hallelujah! spreading the words of conversion easily and convincingly in, for example, the media, from fellow seekers, through a Russell Brand-like monologue playful and teasingly enticing a commitment to some ideal or another.
Will the Full Moon be filled with Truth or will it be Full of It? If you get my meaning.
I’m betting we will experience the energy either way in our close relations, with more chance of bamboozlement from the Sagittarius media outlets. Regardless, of what we experience, it might be good to wait to commit to being converted and convinced, until another lunar cycle, when the Full Moon is in more practical Capricorn.
The possibilities for great Visions and great celebrations and parties are infinite, YET…
Neptune brings the challenge of clarity with a square to this Full Moon. It is Stationary (moving extra slowly), ready to go Retrograde on the 12th, a day after Mercury is Direct. Neptune makes four squares total to the Sun, Mercury and Mars, and the Moon. Brain fog, memory loss, avoiding truth, forgetting the details, lack of vitality are some ways to experience challenging Neptune; however, with commitment to the higher potential, so are compassion, inspiration and the highest of loves. The square is but a wrinkle to be ironed out with devotion. Our experience is that sometimes the Neptune vibration is so open that it allows more than the Spirit of sanctity in. Other Spirits may follow into the space that Neptune opens creating a play-land of avoidance and diversion. A blue light of protection may be helpful during dreamtime. Pray and ask for divine guidance and for the patience and calm that the Mind needs for actual contemplation of Truth.
If an intention was set at the last New Moon in Taurus, to manifest abundance, for example, this is the point in the lunar cycle where we may receive feedback from others or see the fullness of our aspiration. We may also not receive the feedback we desire or through Neptune be confused by the meaning of it, or find it to be less than true; or find it to be true, but not in a way we had considered before. Perhaps the veil lifts, after the last of three Mercury squares to Neptune on June 23, though I would be tempted to wait and observe for a stretch longer.
The message: Question all Twitter feeds. Seriously, though, a sense of humour is helpful. Don’t believe everything you hear—- or read. Even this. Contemplate deeply and practice diving past Ego/Mind to contact and trust your divine essence.
