7° Virgo/Pisces 58′
On September 16, Jupiter and Neptune will come into an exact opposition, an aspect of awareness, desire for balance and sometimes separation.
Jupiter represents our personal beliefs and philosophies; however, we arrive at those beliefs through engagement in the world or other realms. Jupiter and the 9th house is part of the natural third quadrant. Through Jupiter we connect with the right brain, intuition and with practice, skill or natural talent, we may find ourselves checking out the Akashic Records. Jupiter is a bigger picture energy.
Neptune, when we talk of beliefs, symbolizes unconscious ones. These come from the collective, from our ancestry, from realms that are experienced through higher vibration exposures like connection to universal energy, higher vibration teachers, psychotropic plants and gazing into the mountains from one side of the valley.
Neptune is bigger picture energy and much more fluid and easily forgotten. It is certainly difficult to write about. It may be more experiential. Neptune’s beliefs and truth come to us when we are fortunate enough to be in the “knowing field” that Evolutionary Astrologer, Mark Jones, has spoken about in his lectures. Prayer, intention, and meditation are all ways to prepare for entry into that field.
Though some can be quite adamant that they do know Truth and that “their” Truth is founded in true Truth or the right Truth or that “my” Truth should be a human right. David R. Hawkins, in Transcending the Levels of Consciousness The Stairway to Enlightenment, offers insight into the idea of Truth and whether the popular belief in Western Culture that we should have the right to live “our” Truths even if it hurts someone else. Would it hurt someone else if it resonates with Higher Love? My paraphrase may not be quite what he had in mind, but his writing opened me to a deeper view, which I will be re-exploring.
We might experience, through our humanness, a partial or intellectual understanding of Truth. To not flounder in our lives, we must have some confidence in our beliefs. To know what we feel is true, it is helpful to be open and aware that there are other interpretations of what are ultimately highest truths.
As these two great ones oppose each other, and we agree the aspect of an opposition brings awareness, perhaps we can say that this transit has the capacity to reveal. A transit of revelation to bring to light the Truth and, we always include the polarity, what is not True. Could one or more deceptions come to light? Oppositions manifest as separations too. The Truth is separated from the Lie. Look to the media (Jupiter) to put a critical (Virgo) light (conjunct the Sun) on something hidden (Neptune).
Observation and correlation in practice.
- Personally I have found looking at old rulerships is a must when looking at practical, this reality, kinds of issues. Neptune is considered a transpersonal planet and is vital to consider in Evolutionary Astrology where the focus is on Soul and Personal Growth.
- Neptune/Pisces is where we often see loss. Things dissolve. We also learn in EA with Jupiter loss happens too. Things leave for us to receive the Jupiter silver lining. Over the last years I have also noticed that Jupiter often plays a strong role in death charts. Surprised?
