Lots of planetary activity this month, for now, at center stage, ta da…
A big month for Jupiter…
… on the 8th, it will be the brightest it will be all year. Details here at In The Sky.org.

With good binoculars you can see Jupiter’s Moons while opposing the Sun.
Jupiter Rx in Disseminating Trine with Pluto. 10/11/15. 3/16/16. 6/26/16.
Jupiter Rx Last Quarter Square Saturn. 8/3/15. 3/23/16. 5/26/16.
Imagine Guru Jupiter’s open palms receiving impulses — strong pulsing steady reminders of the natural principles of earth energy— from Pluto.
A teacher receiving a teaching from the force that knows about death and rebirth. Great wisdom is available this month, including a message from the past, if one is open to the transmission.
This Jupiter/Pluto trine transit peaked for the first time in October. There’s nothing particularly urgent about it, though there may be some greater meaning revealed through contemplation. It would be a shame to miss it. (Just wrote it in the calendar… “meditate with intention to learn about the current cycle”.)
The dispatch is likely to be something practical as Jupiter and Pluto are in Earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. Money or resource management comes to mind because it is a predominant concern in what some call the “3D” world. Recycling. Build a plan for a rainy day. Be true to one’s philosophy of life. Make spiritual practice real. Come down from the mountain top.
“Your Beliefs Won’t Save You.”
Yogananda in “The Essence of Self-Realization”
This quote jumped out while flipping through this book by Swami Kriyananda. I don’t remember what I was looking for and may be taking this out of context, but felt the resonance to Jupiter in Virgo. Philosophies and beliefs themselves are perspectives of truth.
Are they actually Truth? Even if we will never know for absolute 100% sure in this life, if our convictions are valid, Jupiter in Virgo encourages practical ways to “walk the talk” that we do believe in. Clarity comes from contemplation, then, take it into the “real” world—Saturn’s world.
Another dear teacher of mine, Judith Corvin-Blackburn, would remind us that healing wounds from childhood or earlier, will make it much easier to follow and engage in a our truths and become more clear on them. Pluto in Capricorn encourages transformation and release of emotional attachment rooted in cultural and familial conditioning.
The other more “edgy” transit this month is between Jupiter and Saturn. Its influence could be felt way back in August 2015.
It can be frustrating to know the history of conditioning and all the expectations, rules and pressures that come along with living on this planet with our species especially when we desire a Spirit Directed path. We are born into a physical body, in this family, in this city, in this country limited by natural and constructed boundaries.
Jupiter prepares for expansion by intuiting which Saturnian rules are based in Natural Laws and Principles. Last Quarter Squares encourage revaluing what we know and reality as it is perceived, then making decisions to let go or refurbish.
These two planets reflect society, roles within it and a moral compass. We can look at this transit as global manifestation of consciousness and the tension of on-going evolution.
This transit reminds me of this year’s Saturn/Neptune square in that both, Jupiter and Neptune, are dream makers and visionaries. Right use of Saturn brings dreams into reality. Without imagination, Saturn is out of work.
If Saturn is reflected in your world as sadness and depression, bring the natural world into your life to stimulate vision. Even in a city we can find the signs of Nature in swirling leaves, the return of magpies and bluejays, daffodils and the breeze on one’s face.
ShawnSky is all about the art for improving the quality of life and she recommends this article in Lifehack about art being a stress reliever and depression preventive.
Through exploring the imaginal realms, meaning appears and principles revealed. Creating meaning in life improves its experience. That might just be the bottom line.
Mercury (on the 17th) and Venus ( on the 29th) conjoin the Pisces South Node this month. These are quick transits and only last a few days, but it might be fun to watch for someone from the past to show up— a sibling, someone younger or an old flame.
Maybe a message or a thought in a dream or movie appears that has something to do with the potential of an old relationship, or opportunity to forgive and forget, so that healthier responses can develop.

This came from a sketch ShawnSky had made prior to the Lunar Eclipse at 4 Aries 40 last September when she lost her studio due to a fire. This month there is a Lunar Eclipse at the opposite sign in Libra. ShawnSky likes to observe the flow of creativity in people’s lives.
