With any Full Moon, there is the potential for awareness. In Gemini, an air sign, a message is available somewhere in the planetary network. The celestial energy resides externally and internally. In stillness a message arrives. Through Guru the larger picture is shown. Simply ask.
A few days ago, I finally watched the documentary, Awake, which is about Yogananda Paramhansa’s life. It is on Netflix, now in Canada. To see one of my earliest teachers on the screen touched me deeply. Spiritual journeys are as diverse as individuals. Messages come in many ways. Simply seeing an image of him, calms my Soul. It brought reflection on the Saturn and Neptune presence that radiates so strongly during this Full Moon.

Full Moon Vibes November 2015
When I look at this visual representation, the key components, included during this Airy Gemini Full Moon, are the contained yet emanating force of Saturn in Sagittarius and the more flowing, diffuse energy of Neptune in Pisces which intermingles with the Sagittarius planets; flows into the Libra space of Venus and Mars; crosses the flow of the Full Moon/Sun presences and touches into Jupiter in Virgo’s earthy domain. The Sun is moving toward the collective relationship of reality and wisdom (Saturn) and the diffuse heart centered, compassionate fluid wisdom of the collective (Neptune). In four days the Sun aligns with Saturn and Sagittarius passion for Truth is further illuminated.
Guru Jupiter at 20 degrees Virgo is aligned with the September 12 Solar Eclipse point. I remember talking to several clients about the prominence of that eclipse in their charts and now am wondering how whether continues to develop, expands or brings meaning with Jupiter’s presence. Also, though the Full Moon itself is in an impulsive, whimsical, sometimes flighty Air Sign, it is toned down by the Saturn to Sun conjunction. The weight of the world looms ahead. The choices are endless, and the consequences of decisions may feel like they need more reflection.
It may be worth considering carefully one’s responses or reactions. Take a quick peek back to see if there is a relationship to the New Moon intention from November 11. Neptune is squares this dilemma. It is the tension that can ignore, play and escape or forgive, love and spiritualize. To ignore, is the same as making a decision.
Bigger picture: this phase is about making decision to re-value or to discard the dream that was initiated back in 1989. Where were you? Geez, Louise, I just looked!
It could be interesting to see where that landed in your own birth map. If you were born December 31 or January 1, it landed right on your Sun!
At the conjunction in 1989, Saturn/Neptune was at 10-11 degrees Capricorn.
What is being lost sight of in the waters of Pisces?
Pay attention to reality and the different experiences of ‘reality’, even within family units, relationship and heirarchical organizations.
Authority versus Vision, Compassion.
Boundaries and Rules in integrity with Collective needs.
These are some Saturn/Neptune phrases. The collective can refer to anywhere from All that Is to the All Those in the Neighborhood.
This is a time to use imagination as a tool toward manifestation.
Last thoughts. Yogananda’s Chart. So interesting to see that Uranus has been conjunct his Jupiter. Pluto conjunct his Sun. His Pluto/Neptune conjunction in Gemini is close to today’s Full Moon, but even more compelling is that it is opposite Saturn and square Neptune. Oh… so much to reflect on. Birth Data used: January 5, 1893. 5:30 AM IST Gorakhpur, India. I have seen the time 8:38 PM INOT used as well.
Leaving you with the actual Full Moon chart. Peace, Shawn
