3rd Edition with Evolutionary Astrologer, Daniel Fiverson. This series publishes thoughts from soul-oriented astrologers, and possibly some other kinds of practitioners in the format of answering questions. In this way, we are promoting astrologers & our craft, as well as, diverse ideas.
This feature is has been a great experience for me. I hope that the stars align so that we continue and expand by present perspectives from all over the globe.
Bottom line — a great Scorpio phrase — reading differing approaches, not just during this formidable Saturn in Sagittarius time, can change our own beliefs and how we treat ourselves and others.
Quality of life can instantly improve when just the right string of words impact us at just the right time— similar to the divine timing of astrology.

Daniel Fiverson is based in New Mexico
With that, let’s hear from evolutionary astrologer, Daniel Fiverson, whose work also embraces Eastern and Native American teachings, practical Qabala and blends modern psychological astrology with archetypal mythology and astronomy.
Our main concern: The current world’s political climate seems to be creating distress for so many individuals. The media climate is extreme whether its through the news, comedians, and celebrity talk show hosts troubled by illogical behavior or thought processes of our political leaders.
My own distress comes from feeling people’s emotional pain that appears to come from being wrapped up in expressing opinions about Truth, not listening and resisting self-inquiry. Believe me, I don’t have the bottom line answers, so that’s why… Scorpio Moon asks.
How, as an Evolutionary Astrologer, would you approach a client who is having trouble coping with what is going on in the world? Alternatively, could you say something about ‘what is going on in the world’? Why does the climate seem more troubling now than previously?

The purpose of these traumas is to dislodge what has become fixated and crystallized… then begin the work of actualizing what needs to happen for the common good of all people everywhere.
Everything happens for a reason. When crises and cataclysms occur, our emotional distress eclipses our objectivity and prevents us from responding proactively to the challenging circumstances. Once we get past the initial trauma however, a different perspective begins to emerge that discloses the meaning of the event. As we mature, hopefully we begin to recognize these patterns of challenging events, as they are developing. We tell ourselves, “this looks familiar” which initiates the process of making different, more conscious choices.
We are currently experiencing the culmination of a cycle of conscious awakening that is centuries, even millennia in the making. Cultural, ethnic, and religious shadows, and distortions are being illuminated and exposed, imbalances that have been rationalized, reduced, and denied for over 250 years in the United States, and for at least 6000 years globally. The evolutionary energies are incredibly strong and active right now. All of us are being cleared, some more than others. Some are here to facilitate the clearing.
The purpose and imperative is to realize the meaning of this experience. When events seem without sense or reason we feel psychically lost and can literally lose it–physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. When we understand that the meaning and purpose of these traumas is to dislodge what has become fixated and crystallized, we can begin the process of re-centering and begin the work of actualizing what needs to happen for the common good of all people everywhere.
What inspires you about the current world climate?
I am inspired by the enormously creative human potentials that are emerging for a new world paradigm. As we are confronted with so many inconvenient truths about the state of our world, we have the opportunity to retool the planet, synthesizing new truths. I believe we are collectively approaching the threshold of a golden age, but like all births, golden ages do not emerge without discomfort.
Is there a practice or something you personally do, that you want to share, for easing the pain of a troubled Soul?
I maintain a primary focus to be healthy and strong in all 4 bodies (listed above). It is my intention to help grow and live to see this new age that is struggling to emerge from gestation, but I know that I need to be healthy and strong to do that. I have a daily practice that includes yoga and meditation that enables me to stay grounded and self-directed. I also employ divinatory tools, I Ching, Tarot, pendulum, and of course Astrology to maintain an objective perspective as much as possible. I also spend a lot of time in nature biking, hiking, rock hounding, camping, wildcrafting, and gardening.
Is there a book you would recommend and why?
Though over the years I have assembled an extensive metaphysical library, the book that has been my constant companion and spiritual compass for over 50 years has been the Wilhem Baynes edition of the I Ching.
Any additional thoughts?
Amor Fati—love of fate. We must eventually adopt an attitude of surrender and acceptance that everything that happens to us occurs for a reason, and the reason is always good. Go with the flow. It’s all good.
Thank you so much, Daniel, for your thoughts and your time. Peace.
