A New Moon of Transformation initiates the earnest desire to communicate the complexity of our emotions, basic needs and our passions. The old way of getting the point across is done, now it’s time to shoot from the hip and get things started.
There are four conjunctions in the New Moon Chart. That means four areas for potential release and four areas to start over or awaken to a new way.
1. The New Moon itself is a conjunction. It is energized by Mercury in Scorpio who has the natural ability to focus on the bottom line in quite intimate areas. There is no interest here in shallow conversation. Security, Life and Death Matters, Power and Evolution is on the Agenda.
This New Moon falls on the day before Hallow’s Eve, a reminder that there is a risk of our Shadows wandering in wearing costumes of Manipulation, Obsession and Control. “Trick? or Treat?” Candy or toilet papered trees?
Shadow work feels appropriate and is a possible intention for this lunar cycle.
2. Venus and Saturn are conjoined in Sagittarius. Ah, the May/December romance. A new commitment to honor our ideals and our beliefs. “What basic needs, Venus, require strengthening, rebuilding or maturation. I will help you,” says Saturn, “but you must be willing to Trust and Let Go.”
3. Mars and Pluto are conjoined in Capricorn. The warrior meets his nemesis. Both are passionate about their domain. Their situation was more intense a week ago, when the Call to Let Go felt like the collapse of a cavern, the death of desire. The consuming intensity had built to a peak, the trigger pulled. And now, what? What comes out of total destruction? A new landscape. New potential. Survival builds strength. Let the reconstruction of Passion and Calling begin.
4. Uranus and Eris align in Aries. The revolutionary genius pairs with the power of an underdog. This conjunction has been active since the end of September and must be included in the mix.
