If there is anything better than a Scorpio Moon, it is a Taurus Full Moon. Hey, that is just me and my preferences. The fullness of the senses which can be enjoyed in human form are a gift from God. This month is also a Super Full Moon.
Thinking in this way, we might call this Full Moon time, perfect for a sustained practice of Gratitude thus sustained Evolution.

Full Moon in Taurus. Yum.
What is the story on this Full Moon in Taurus?
Taurus is a Fixed, Earth Sign. One might immediately think of the survival instinct, as Taurus is a natural ruler of the 2nd house and the 2nd sign in the zodiac. What do we need to survive, after we become aware of our existence represented by Aries and the 1st house?
When we have the basics, how can we improve upon them?
More Taurus keywords: Self-sufficiency, luxury, sensuality.
The reigning need of Moon in Taurus for an individual (dependent on consciousness, plus the environmental and familial conditions)— the bottom line— regardless of what it looks, feels, smells and tastes like— is the experience of a reliable, unwavering condition that essential needs are met preferably in a most comfortable manner.
During this Taurus Full Moon, can we feel contentment and satisfaction even under dubious* conditions? Here are some ways.
How to Feel Content & Satisfied
1. Write down what one is grateful for or create a collage, so that the images stimulate the senses starting with the visual.
2. Make a soup luxuriously filled with root vegetables. Let it simmer so that the natural goodness wafts through the home and the sense of smell is stimulated.
3. Touch. Did you save a stuffed animal from childhood? Is a beloved pet ready to love you? Enjoy Skin. Stroke Fur. Feel the wind over the palms while driving to a Full Moon celebration. Stimulate the sense of touch.
4. In an Insight Meditation class I took once, Dana, the teacher, had us hold a raisin in our mouth and take an excruciatingly (and deliciously) long time to chew it. During that time the taste buds became more sensitive and aware. Don’t like raisins… try wine tasting. Become more conscious of what does end up on the taste buds. You might find, for yourself, that some foods actually are not as tasty as advertised.

It’s a leaf.
5. Listen to the sounds of the natural world, whether it is the leaves falling, the squirrels scrambling, or the Canada Geese honking. Aural sensations can take us away from our troubles. Our favorite uplifting songs, may bring grace. One of mine these days, continues to be Amazing by One Eskimo.
*Dubious conditions. I am thinking about Neptune, the plant which correlates to the collective unconscious. Neptune changes direction (November 19). During this Full Moon, Neptune is in transition.

Mercury Glyph
The rest of the story of this Full Moon involves Mercury, which recently changed signs to adventurous Sagittarius. Mercury symbolizes the mechanics of the mind.
In the sign of the Archer, Mercury is ready to deliver information in big ways, expansive, sometimes with meaning so visionary that any limited Taurean views are altered or adjusted.
• What is the purpose of this physical body?
• What does it mean to have enough food? What is enough?
• Is it possible to be content with a simple life?
• Is it possible to feel luxury in lean times?
• Have our core values betrayed us or brought meaning into our lives?

Sagittarius
Mercury conjoins Juno, the goddess of the hearth, in the Full Moon chart.
Mercury sextile Mars in Aquarius supports the physical drive to WALK our Talks.
A wee reminder: Be open to the potential to go overboard and “convince and convert” with Mercury in Sagittarius.
Evolution
The drive to Evolve, whether conscious or arises from the unconscious, produces three types of responses.
1. Resistance.
2. Embracement.
3. Desire to embrace change, but resistant due to fear of the outcome.
When Taurus embraces, there is a connection to Core Value. Under this acceptance of change, even something out of the scope of Taurus experience, can be pursued, doggedly, through fear, until the change is permanent (until the next evolutionary impulse).
These comes from the teachings of Jeffrey Wolfe Green.
That’s all for now… I’m off to gratefully enjoy the blessings of the tangible.
Share, please and thank you.
