April 16, 2017. I am rereading The Purpose of Your Life, by Carol Adrienne, for the third time in my life. What caught my eye this morning is about Balance and how a good time to learn about core beliefs, is when one is playing starring role in an episode of Imbalance.
What is Imbalance? Balance is connected to the sign of Libra, thus the planet Venus. We are just coming of out of a Venus Retrograde cycle. The last Full Moon was in Libra. We may still feel the residue of an incredibly fluctuating experience with March’s Jupiter in Libra/Uranus in Aries Opposition (returning to the heavens late September).
Adrienne writes that when life feels less than steady, the amount of stability we HAVE is not aligned to the growth we NEED. We might have more stability and less growth or too much expansion and not enough security. Responsibilities may outweigh the need for peace and calm. Or vice versa.
What can we do to regain our composure? One way is to look at non-linear and right-brained ways of receiving guidance. The header of this book is “Finding Your Place in the World Using Synchronicity, Intuition, and Uncommon Sense.” Adrienne shares her own and others’ stories of success using these methods.
I have recommended this book over the years to numerous clients and friends and am glad to have found it on my bookshelf during this revolutionary year of inner and outer change. The Purpose of Your Life stands up over time. It’s almost 20 years old, published in 1998.
Finally, while Venus is slowly getting back to her normal speed, we are still in the Venus/Saturn First Quarter Square energy, which completes April 21. This supports the important work to let go of stagnant situations and make an effort to grow — to find balance between certainty and evolution.
Venus in Pisces lets us imagine new roles to play. Saturn in Sagittarius promotes the strengthening our intuition.
